About aquilis developments

Aquilis are a privately owned land developer and house building company whose goal is to deliver high quality residential developments on a range of sites all over the West Midlands.

We have started small, with select developments in Knowle, Dorridge, Balsall Common and Hollywood but we have big plans for the future and are keen to expand our portfolio all over the West Midlands, across a range of different types of land. We are always looking for development opportunities around the West Midlands

Whether you have a large garden in Dorridge, a commercial property in Walsall, some infill land in between houses in Erdington, or a field in the Black Country, it’s worth asking us to conduct a feasibility study and explore your options.

Any initial consultation work we undertake to assess the suitability of your land for development is free of charge and confidential. We’ll be able to answer your questions from how to sell land for development effectively to advising how much developers pay for land.

Types of land we are looking for:

  • Residential – large gardens, or a collection of gardens, could make a perfect development plot, as can existing houses that sit on a large plot, no matter the condition of the existing property. How we work

We’ll do a site visit initially, to assess the land’s potential, and can discuss the development opportunities and options with you, including development land prices per acre.

For those who want a quick sale, we can look at purchasing the land without any planning consent.

If you are keen to maximise the value of your plot, we will conduct a feasibility study to assess the site’s potential, taking into account various factors such as its size, location, current use, access, drainage, and soil condition. As planning permission experts, we will take full responsibility for obtaining planning permission and will pay for all the associated costs - which can be anything between £20,000 and £100,000.

Once planning permission has been granted, we will then pay you the agreed figure for the land. In the unlikely event permission is not given, you will not incur any costs.
